I took Emre and Pelin to Half Moon Bay today. We first stopped by the Lemos Farm on HW 92. Kids rode ponies and watched goats and other animals.
We then searched for a beach and came across Poplar Beach. There is a trail from the parking lot to the beach. We went down the trail and noticed some horse poop there. We didn’t see any horse on the beach though.
Kids played with the sand and with waves while I looked around. There were many families and people walking their dogs on the beach. Some people were throwing food at seagulls who were gliding over us to pick up whatever they can. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring a camera with me. So, I took pictures of the people, kids and the seagulls with my cell phone.

Bugün Emre ile Pelin’i Half Moon Bay’e götürdüm. Önce HW 92 üzerindeki Lemos Farm‘da durduk. Çocuklar orada midilliye bindiler, keçilere ve diğer hayvanlara baktılar.
Sonra bir plaj aradık ve Poplar Beach diye bir yer bulduk. Park yerinden kumsala inen bir patika var. Oradan inerken at pisliği gördük ama kumsalda at görmedik.
Ben çevreye bakınırken çocuklar kumla ve dalgalarla oynadılar. Çevrede aileler ve köpeğini kumsalda yürüyüşe getirenlar vardı. Bazıları üzerimizde planör gibi uçup birşey kapmaya çalışan martılara yiyecek atıyordu. Ne yazık ki yanıma fotoğraf makinamı almamıştım. Çocukları, insanları ve martıları cep telefonumla çektim.

On the way back we saw a girl on horseback. She climbed down and started walking her horse down the trail. We stopped and watched them go down to the beach. The horse was a little uneasy on the beach. She gave it some treats and pet it to calm it down. She then climbed it and started to ride by the waves. I took a couple of nice pictures and regretted that I didn’t bring my camera again.
Dönüşte ata binen bir kız gördük. Attan indi ve atını patikadan aşağı yürüttü. At biraz huysuzlandıysa da ağzına şeker gibi birşey verip sakinleştirdi. Atına bindi ve dalgaların yanından gitmeye başladı. Birkaç resimlerini çektim ve fotoğraf makinamı getirmediğime bir daha pişman oldum.
